Burglars Invade Gaa 2 Hostel Iree, Cart away two phones

A yet to be identified burglars invaded Golden Star hostel, Ayeloja, Gaa 2 Area, Iree and carted away two mobile phones in the early hours of today at the student's residence of Osun State Polytechnic.

According to an eye witness who doesn't want name in print told NEB metro how some Students met their hostel open when they came back from vigil in the early hours of the day only to discover that all their phones and food have been stolen.

The incident which came as a shock to all those who lives in the hostel as many woke up to the news that a part of the hostel has been looted by robbers before day break.

Emmanuel one of the victim of the attack said 'It's a surprise when I just woke up in the middle of the night, checked where i plugged my phone, but couldn't find it there again, only to notice that our window net has bee ripped in pieces'.

Residents of the area however complained lack of security in the area which made them vulnerable to break and cart away burglars yearly.

NEB Metro however call for security alert most especially during festive periods like this when student's hostels are deserted and vulnerable to attacks.s
